New Look, Same Mission
For 17 years, Question of the Day (QOTD) has helped almost 8,000 people prepare for their CPPO, CPPB, and NIGP-CPP certifications. Created and managed by procurement industry expert and longtime advocate David Nash, QOTD has helped educate procurement professionals with a simple and impactful passion.
What started as a humble sample test question emailed daily by David himself has evolved into the current QOTD: an automated daily email question that connects users to volunteers and mentors dedicated to their success.
Now powered by A Posteriori, LLC, QOTD's new look will complement its continuing mission: Participants will sign up within their certification testing window and receive an automated multiple-choice question daily. They will have several chances to answer the question correctly, and hints will be provided if they answer incorrectly. If they need extra help, they can connect with certified coaches for 1:1 help.
QOTD participation will continue to be offered free of cost.
The Importance of Certification
Whether it is CPPO, CPPB, or NIGP-CPP (or all three!), the importance of certification in the procurement industry has never been stronger. A third-party validation is the best opportunity to empower yourself and become a strategic partner for your government while growing your career. Once certified, you’ll have a greater opportunity to develop your career, become a leader, and ensure you stand out while garnering more knowledge of the procurement industry.

Each creative activity prompt is an opportunity for your child to embrace a new challenge. Through hands-on learning, your child is more likely to remain engaged and to build upon their creative problem-solving skills.
How it Works
Participants within a year of their certification testing window should use the contact form below to sign up. Being within a year of certification will ensure participants are receiving the most current questions and maximizing the value of using QOTD.
Once you’ve signed up, a question will be emailed daily through our automated system. You will have multiple opportunities to answer the question and be provided hints to help you succeed. You may use any available resource, including the Internet and study materials. If you answer incorrectly, you can elect to be connected with one of our certified coaches for 1:1 assistance.
